Hourly and daily bookings: an 8% service fee on the spot price. Monthly rentals: 5%. You see everything before confirming the booking.

For monthly rentals we hold a refundable deposit — minimum 1,500 Kč (≈€60), maximum half of the monthly rent. Returned in full at the end of the rental, provided there's no damage.

Prices are shown in Czech crowns (CZK). Your card is charged in CZK; your bank may apply a small conversion fee. Apple Pay and Google Pay handle this automatically.

A marketplace only works when both sides feel safe. Here's what we do to make that true.

Every host is verified

We check identity documents and proof of ownership or sublease consent. Stripe KYC for anyone receiving payments. No listing goes live without this.

A reserved spot is yours

If a host cancels at the last minute, you get a full refund and we help you find an alternative nearby. The host pays a penalty for breaking the agreement.

Support in English and Czech

If something doesn't work — the spot is taken, the gate is broken, the host doesn't answer — you message support from the app. We respond within two business days, urgent cases sooner.

Disputes settled fairly

Don't agree with a fine or a damage charge? Open a dispute in the app. We review each case individually and back the truth, not a side.

What might still be on your mind

Do I need to register just to see prices?

No. The map and spot prices are visible without an account. You only sign up before your first booking — takes a minute via Google, Apple, or email.

What if I arrive and the gate won't open?

Call the host directly from the app — their contact is in the booking details. If you don't reach them within 10 minutes, message support. We'll help with alternative parking and refund you.

Can I extend my booking if the meeting runs long?

Yes, as long as the spot isn't already booked next. Open the active booking, tap "Extend", pay the difference with Apple Pay or your saved card.

What if the spot doesn't fit my car?

Every spot has a vehicle type (motorbike / standard / SUV / van) and usually ceiling height. We filter listings by your car category, so spots that don't fit don't even appear.

Where do I find my bookings?

In your profile — "Upcoming" and "Past" tabs. Active bookings get their own state with a timer and an "I'm leaving" button to end them.

What if I don't use the booking? Will I get a refund?

Depends how early you let us know — see the cancellation table above. Exceptional cases (illness, accident) we handle individually — message support.

Can I leave the car in the garage overnight?

If the host allows it, yes. Some spots are marked "no overnight parking" — you see this in the details before booking. Price is calculated by actual length of stay.

How does the refundable deposit work for monthly rentals?

For bookings longer than one month we hold a deposit — minimum 1,500 Kč (≈€60), maximum half the monthly rent. It's returned in full at the end of the rental, provided there's no damage. The deposit is not prepaid rent — the full monthly rental is paid separately, in one charge at booking.

Who's liable if something happens to my car in someone else's spot?

Your car is insured the same as anywhere else — your existing third-party and comprehensive cover applies. ParkBlue does not insure vehicles, but if the spot itself causes damage (e.g. falling plaster), we mediate between you and the host and deduct from their deposit or the operating reserve as appropriate. If you damage the spot, we deduct from your deposit — always with evidence and right of appeal.

Can I move a booking to a different time without cancelling?

No. Time can't be changed via "Edit booking" — either extend (if the next window is free) or cancel under the standard rules and create a new one. What you can change during an active booking: the vehicle (if you switch cars) and the payment method.

How fast will I get my money back after cancelling?

We trigger the refund in Stripe immediately, but how fast it lands depends on your bank — typically 5–10 working days for Czech banks, sometimes sooner. Foreign cards can take up to 15 days. Refund status is shown in the cancelled booking details.

Why do I need to verify my identity for a monthly booking?

A monthly rental means weeks of access to a spot. Verification via Stripe Identity (ID scan + selfie, about 2 minutes) protects hosts against misuse and lets us keep prices low for everyone. Hourly and daily bookings skip this.

Can I pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay without saving the card?

Yes. Apple Pay and Google Pay open straight from the payment sheet, you authorize with Face ID or fingerprint, and nothing is saved. If you do save a card, you can remove it from your profile at any time.

What if someone is already parked in my reserved spot?

In the active booking, tap "Spot is occupied". We immediately contact the previous driver or host and find you an alternative nearby — emergency parking is on us. If the previous driver overstayed, you get a full refund plus a credit as compensation.

Does the app work in an underground garage with no signal?

Gate code and host contact are visible in the booking even offline — the app caches them on open. Opening the gate itself depends on the garage: some have a classic code, others use a fob or app-based opening via the host. Before your first visit to a spot, make sure the code is downloaded before you drive in.

I drive an EV. Can I find spots with a charger?

Yes. In filters enable "EV charging" and you'll only see spots with a charger. Spot details list the connector type (Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO), maximum power (kW), and how electricity is paid for — some spots include charging, others charge separately via the host or the operator.

Can I book from abroad before I land in Prague?

Yes. ParkBlue works with any payment card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and any international phone number for SMS verification. Book from the airport before takeoff — the spot waits for you at the stated time.

Do I need a Czech phone number?

No. Any international mobile number works for SMS verification. We've tested numbers from the UK, US, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, and Romania.

Can I use a foreign driving licence?

Yes. ParkBlue doesn't check your driving licence — that's between you and the road authorities. We only verify your identity (Stripe Identity for monthly bookings) and your number plate, which can be any EU plate.

What if I only need parking for the weekend?

Use a daily reservation. Book Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, pay once, drive in. Many hotels in central Prague have no parking — this is exactly what we're built for.

Will my foreign bank charge me for the conversion?

Stripe charges you in Czech crowns (CZK). Most modern banks (Revolut, Wise, N26, Monzo) handle the conversion at the mid-market rate with no markup. Traditional banks may add a 1–3% fee — check with your bank if you're unsure.
